Wonder Woman is in love with Superman in the pages of Justice League and starring in her own hit solo series. Would you love to see the Amazon Princess on The CW? The network behind Smallville and this Fall’s Arrow may be turning another DC Comics icon into a television series.
It’s been just about a year since NBC passed on a pilot by David E. Kelley starring DC’s most iconic heroine. Vulture reports that The CW, DC Comics and Warner Brothers are developing a Wonder Woman television series. The story goes to report that Allan Heinberg is writing a script called Amazon. Heinberg’s credits include (Sex and the City, Grey’s Anatomy, The O.C.) and he wrote Young Avengers and the Wonder Woman comic books. Heinberg wrote the Who Is Wonder Woman? storyline in 2007. It will probably follow the no tights tradition established in Smallville.
I still hope to see Diana on the big screen opposite Superman and Batman.
