Superman will soar again in Man of Steel directed by Zach Snyder (300, Watchmen) and produced by Christopher Nolan(The Dark Knight Rises.) Henry Cavill (Immortals) plays Superman and Clark Kent. Here are two versions of the trailer - one narrated by Kevin Costner who plays Jonathan Kent
And one by Russell Crowe who plays Jor-El.
(I choked up on both.) As I write this I think of my dad taking me to Superman: The Movie and Superman II starring Christopher Reeve. This is definitely a teaser in that we don’t see the suit or any of the expected things in the Superman mythos. I loved that we see a boy in a cape. I’ve been that boy.
Man of Steel arrives June 14, 2013.
