Cillian Murphy played Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow in Batman Begins and was briefly in The Dark Knight. Will he appear in The Dark Knight Rises? The Scarecrow’s boss from Batman Begins - Ra’s Al Ghul (Liam Neeson) appears in flashback. Fans speculate that Bane (Tom Hardy) is connected to Ra’s Al Ghul and the villain wears a special mask. Could Bane be inhaling a formula created by Dr. Crane?
When asked about his possible appearance in The Dark Knight Rises, Murphy told Digital Spy: “It’s coming out in July isn’t it? That’s not long to wait. All these questions!”
