The Joker’s Asylum: The Riddler courtesy DC Comics
When Scott Snyder relaunched the DC Comic The New 52 Batman he used new villains the Court of Owls. The Joker is set to return this October and expect another classic rogue in 2013.
A fan asked Snyder if Edward Nigma would return. Snyder replied yes and followed up on Twitter.
”I will use the Riddler in 2013,” he clarified.
The Riddler was seen briefly on the cover and opening pages of Batman #1. The Joker appeared in Detective Comics #1. The villain’s face was carved off and left nailed up in Arkham Asylum.
The New 52 one year anniversary is this September with all issues numbered zero.
